Randon Adams was crowned the 2008 World Champion Heeler after an $83,834 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo that gave him a record breaking year worth $189,568! After a 10-day fight to the finish Randon Adams and Matt Sherwood came out kings in the 2008 World Team Roping chase. They finished second in rounds three, four, and seven, and fourth in round 10. They took the victory lap in round nine, after coming tight on a spectacular 3.7-second run. Finishing fourth in the average also contributed to claiming their gold buckles.
